The hot herbal compress is a blend of herbs, including Plai (Zingiber Cassumunar), Turmeric, Lemongrass, Kaffir Lime, with Salt and Camphor, which is wrapped in cotton cloth and steamed for 10-15 minutes before being applied to the body or affected areas of the body. The heat from the steam helps increase regional blood flow and release volatile oils from the herbs to exert anti-inflammatory action on the inflamed and aching muscles.
