When comparing lying in still air of 25 degree Celsius and in water of 25 degree Celsius, it is experienced that the sensation of chilliness comes up more rapidly in water than in air of the same temperature. When varying the temperature, Stimulating, Sedating and Tonifying effects can be obtained. The perception of water temperature differs from person to person. It should be noted that Asians perceive the 33 degree Celsius as warm while European have the same sensation in a bath of 38 degree Celsius.
